5. See a real human being, and a real hero*
There’s something strangely thrilling about going to the cinema at midnight, don’t you think? We love the Picturehouse chain’s late showings (11.45pm at weekends) and this, well, it’s nothing new – we just thought you wouldn’t want to miss the Ritzy’s Easter weekend nocturnal bonanza.
The cinema is showing late-night screenings of Drive; Nick Winding Refn’s stylishly gruesome and unsettling 2011 thriller starring Ryan Gosling. If nothing else, go for the sexy electro soundtrack. (We know you won’t be going for the soundtrack. We even know straight men who find Gosling hot.)
* In case you haven’t heard the sound-track, these are the lyrics you’ll remember when you do.
Drive (18), showing on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 March at the Ritzy Picturehouse, Brixton, 11.45pm
