1. Beautiful photography in Forest Hill

Megan Taylor is a brilliant documentary photographer whose work you’re likely to have come across in the various broadsheets she works for. Or maybe you’ve seen her on the excellent interiors blog, My Friend’s House, run by her (anonymous) sometime journalistic collaborator, who says of Taylor: “Her way with people puts her subjects at ease, enabling her to capture something true about each of them.”

This small-scale exhibition, which opened earlier this week at a coffee shop in Forest Hill, showcases a cross-section of her beautiful images. They range from images for stories she’s done for the Guardian, to shots taken on her travels in places including Mexico and Croatia. The image, above, is from a story Taylor did on Irish workers.

Limited edition prints of 50cm x 40cm will be for sale, too, priced at £150. They are also on sale on her website.
