Next Tuesday you can eavesdrop on this lively debate taking at the Royal Institute of British Architects. The panel includes: Kevin McCloud; Rowan Moore, the Observer’s architecture critic; Peter Rees, the City of London chief planning officer Peter Rees; architect Julia Barfield.
Join them as they discuss whether buildings such as the Shard, plus the new high-rise developments planned for the South Bank and Vauxhall, are boosting or blighting our capital – and whether the planning system is working. The discussion takes place on 16 April, 6:30pm-8pm at RIBA, 66 Portland Place London W1B. Tickets are £12 and bookable via the RIBA website.
