Peckham: Tiny artworks at London’s tiniest gallery
Artist and blogger, Sophie Hill, is the curator behind the current show on at the London Arts Board (London’s tiniest art gallery).
Her exhibition, postcardwall, began from the collection of postcards she’d picked up to remind her of art she loved from exhibitions and galleries across the world. The collection mushroomed – and suddenly Sophie found she’d created a vast wallpaper of contemporary and historical art. She then began a blog, writing about each card. See postcardwall in the flesh in Peckham, or read about the collection at Sophie Hill’s blog which London Arts Board describes as: “A lesson in Art History, Art Theory and Art Criticism as well as an introduction to some of the best new and emerging artists working today.”
The show runs until 7 August. Find London Arts Board at the corner of Peckham Road and Vestry Road, SE5
