SE14’s two-week culturefest is back this month – in fact, it starts tomorrow! – and has a firm emphasis on community, with more than 125 events spread over three weekends, with more promised in both April and May. Wowsers. In addition to the concerts, open studios and art shows, interactive exhibits, workshops, talks and cabaret (phew) there’s also spoken word, documentary-making, a radio station and open gardens. The whole caboodle is organised by local volunteers and performers giving their time and skills free, so the least you can do is pop along and support it, right? Runs 5th – 20th March. Peruse the list of events here.

Now we like the sound of this: 22 artists getting together to create posters inspired by their favourite musicians. The brief from the SW9 gallery was simply to create a paean to a favourite band, song, album or tour – but without using the name of the artist or title. The challenge for the viewer is of course to recognise the song or musician. Have a go for yourself when the show runs from Tuesday 22nd March until 17th April. Artists include Jaykoe, Martin Grover, Ben Stockley, Lewis Campbell, Craig Keenan and Kaylene Alde, and screen prints (limited edition of 50 each) are available to buy here at £50 each. Opening times Tues – Sat 11am – 5.30pm, Sun 12am – 4.30pm. 73 Brixton Village, Coldharbour Lane, SW9
