Heavy Friday night? Soothe yourself into the rest of the weekend by eating a plateful like this, while relaxing on a rooftop in Tooley Street.
The Hangover Club is a temporary brunch restaurant open on Sundays only for the next three weekends. It is hosted by the Good Egg Cafe, which has a permanent home in Islington. Designed to de-tox, re-tox and wake you up – as well as fill you up – the oeuf-heavy brunches feature breakfast burritos, shakshuka – spicy, tomato-y Morroccan baked eggs – and lots of smoothies and juices, along with Bloody Marys if you can’t do without a hair of the dog.
The location is The Skyroom (pictured above, left), London Bridge. You’ll need to book your slot ahead – choose from either 11-1pm or 1-3pm. It’s just £8. It runs tomorrow, 17 August, and for the following two Saturdays. Find out more here.
